Winter is a lovely time to take part in a yoga weekend - practice yoga asana to gently warm and open the body, nourish yourself with healthy warming foods and maintain the inward, reflective state of Winter through meditation.

During our third yoga weekend we will delve a little deeper into meditation. Learn benefits, tools and tecniques to begin or extend your meditation practice.  Each of the classes are two hours long - this may seem strenuous, but don't worry - it simply means time for a more balanced practice. Plenty of time to move the body through asana, time to focus on the breath, time to pause and 'workshop' postures for correct alignment and enough time for a 30 minute meditation practice.

The retreat will begin on Friday evening at 5pm for our first yoga practice. After class I will serve you up a nourishing take-home bowl of kichari with some delicious condiments. If the weather allows bring a rug and sit outside the Old Kirk on the grass picnic-style. 

Saturday morning our class will start at 7.30am. Afterwards we will wander up the hill to The Cottage for a shared brunch on the deck. 

Saturday afternoon we will practice yoga again from 4-6pm. Once again after the class we will meet at The Cottage for a whole food feast. This meal is a three course healthy vegetarian meal. 

Finally, Sunday morning we will meet at 7.30am at The Old Kirk for our last class together. 

The middle of the days are free for you to do as you please. Spend the day at one of the amazing beaches, treat yourself to a massage, wander the shops and cafes or simply snuggle down with a good book.

You will also take home a little gift bundle including a linseed and silk eye pillow, a copper tongue scraper, incense and some 'feed the yogi' granola.
